Tecno Pouvoir 2 in Uganda

Review of budget smartphone Tecno Pouvoir 2 with long battery life The new smartphone of the Chinese brand Tecno was named Pouvoir 2, which means "power" in French. Indeed, in some ways this device surpasses its congeners - at least it concerns autonomy: the Pouvoir 2 has a very large 5000 mAh battery, which gives it the ability to work longer than others without recharging. Tecno Pouvoir 2 is a typical candy bar, quite large in size, but not very thick and not heavy. The body is a one-piece plastic casing without separate inserts and a side frame, with only one gluing point - with the front glass. The wide body received a streamlined shape and strongly rounded corners in plan, it tapers slightly towards the side edges. Above and below, for decoration, curly grooves are put in, reminiscent of grooves for external antennas in metal cases. Here it is just a props, but it looks nice, although we have already met a similar design not so long ago in plastic Vivo smartphones. The surface of the plastic is matte, not easily soiled or slippery. The smartphone is surprisingly Tecno Pouvoir 2 in Uganda  tight in the hand, and besides, fingerprints are not visible on its surfaces. That's good: Tecno Pouvoir 2 will always look presentable, the case is practical and durable. The camera on the back hardly sticks out, and in general, the back surface is so flat that the smartphone does not wiggle when you touch the screen, it lies on a hard surface steadily. The fingerprint scanner pad stands out tactilely well, because it is noticeably recessed into the depths. The scanner itself is slow and does not always recognize a finger. The LED above the screen acts as a bright frontal flash, but it cannot work as an event indicator. This is strange, because in the sister model Tecno Camon 11, the same LED is responsible for both. But they did not do the notorious "bangs" here, there is no cutout on the top of the screen. Below the screen there are no touch-sensitive hardware buttons, the screen itself has no rounded corners. The side buttons are not perfect: they do not differ from each other tactilely in texture, the stroke is short and too hard. Well at least - placed on one sidewall. The issue of combining the installation of cards is solved here very simply: there are two card slots, they are located on both sides of the case, and you can install two SIM cards in one, and a microSD memory card in the other. Hot swap of cards is supported. I just didn't like the fact that both SIM-cards have only Micro-SIM slots. Quite a strange and old-fashioned approach: count on a handful of people who, for some reason, have not changed their card for Nano-SIM, but at the same time make the rest of the audience bother looking for adapters for the long-established Nano-SIM standard. The smartphone has a 3.5 mm audio output located on the upper end of the case. But, apparently, there is no additional microphone, as well as noise reduction systems. At the bottom end we once again meet the Micro-USB connector, which manufacturers will never part with. Here, at the bottom end, the loudspeaker and the spoken microphone are brought out. Tecno Pouvoir 2 is available in black, golden and blue colors, but for some reason the blue version has not yet been imported to Russia. The case was not protected from water and dust. Tecno Pouvoir 2 is equipped with an IPS display with 2.5D protective glass. The dimensions of the screen are approximately 68 × 136 mm and the diagonal is 6 inches. The resolution is only 1440 × 720 (aspect ratio 18: 9), the dot density is about 268 ppi. The width of the frame around the screen on the sides is 4 mm, the indent from the bottom is about 11 mm high, from the top - 10 mm. https://jiji.ug/mobile-phones/tecno-pouvoir-2
